Real estate and wealth
IT for real estate, family offices and wealth management
Sensitive documentation, few users and the highest demands on confidentiality and availability.
Data in Andorra. Continuity in Spain.
Wealth management firms handle contracts, deeds, financial information and personal client data. They are usually small structures with no internal technician, needing access from outside the office and with very low tolerance for leaks or data loss.
Situations we find
- Critical documentation on personal devices and shared drives without permissions.
- Contracts and deeds sent by email with no control afterwards.
- No external copy of contractual information.
- Shared logins used by several people.
What it includes
Controlled document repository
Folder structure with per-user permissions, versioning and access logging.
Secure remote access
Cloud desktop or VPN with second factor, to work outside the office without taking files out.
Backup with long retention
Verified backups with retention suited to contractual documentation.
Account hygiene
Named accounts, permission reviews and a documented offboarding procedure.
How we work
- 1Assessment: map of the documentation, current access and risks.
- 2Design: permission structure, hosting and retention policy.
- 3Deployment: document migration and access rollout.
- 4Support: periodic reviews of permissions and backups.
Frequently asked questions
- How many users does it take to make sense?
- It also fits small structures: the environment is sized by actual user count and document volume.
- Can we see who opened a document?
- With named accounts and access logging enabled the environment provides traceability; the exact scope is defined during design.
- Where is the documentation hosted?
- Primary infrastructure is at the Andorra Telecom Data Center in La Massana, with a second location at Seintec's own data centre in Spain for backup and recovery.
- Can documents be shared with clients in a controlled way?
- Yes, through exchange channels with permissions and expiry, rather than uncontrolled email attachments.
An initial review usually finds open access and documentation with no backup; fixing that is quick and cheap compared with the risk.
