Cloud desktop and remote work

Cloud desktops and secure remote access

The same desktop, the same applications and the same data from the office, from home or from abroad, without taking information out of a controlled environment.

Data in Andorra. Continuity in Spain.

When remote access is improvised, two problems appear: performance and security. Cloud desktops keep data and applications in the data centre; the user only receives the screen, which reduces copies of information on personal devices and makes performance predictable.

Situations we find

  • Remote desktop tools installed by each user, with no control or logging.
  • Documents duplicated on personal laptops and on the server.
  • Business applications that run slowly when used outside the office.
  • Difficulty granting temporary access to external collaborators and removing it afterwards.

What it includes

  • Cloud desktop

A hosted working environment with the company's applications and per-user profiles.

  • Second-factor access

Strong authentication and controlled publication, not exposed directly to the internet.

  • Corporate VPN

Encrypted connection between sites, remote users and internal systems that must remain on site.

  • Joiner and leaver management

User provisioning, role-based permissions and documented removal of access.

How we work

  1. 1Assessment: user profiles, applications in use and available connectivity.
  2. 2Design: desktop sizing, permissions, printing and peripherals.
  3. 3Deployment: pilot with a small group, then progressive rollout.
  4. 4Support: performance tuning, joiners and leavers, periodic review.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with our business software?
It is checked during the assessment. Common business applications run well on cloud desktops; cases with specific hardware are analysed separately.
What connection does the user need?
A stable connection; a cloud desktop uses little bandwidth because it only transmits screen, keyboard and mouse. Cases with limited connectivity are validated first.
Can local printers be used?
Yes, through print redirection. Specific devices and models are verified during design.
Where does the data stay?
In the hosted environment, not on the user's device, which lowers the risk if a laptop is lost or stolen.

If your team works across office, sites, hotels or home, we will review how to grant access without opening the door to everyone.
